Congratulations Mitchell Shifflett was selected as the 2010 Times-Dispatch All-Metro Player of the Year and awarded the Rawlings National Gold Glove among many other awards. We wish him continued success at UVA. Teammates, and former Woolridge players, Danny Mooney and Kyle McKay will be continuing their baseball careers at Davidson College and Hampden-Sydney College respectively. Hunter Akerman was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the fourth round of the 2010 draft and is presently playing in the Arizona League. |
